WORKOUT
ANALYZER
Using Electromyography

Overview
Workout is one of the most important aspects which influences people to achieve their overall physical fitness. But nowadays, people do not realize how much they are supposed to push their body limits and tend to get injured. So, there is no proper system which guides the user to analyze the strain that a muscle is undergoing during the workout.

ABOUT
The objective of this experiment is to analyze the workout parametric of the individual muscle. In our experiment, an individual with no neuromuscular disorder is chosen to collect the data. The chosen individual must rest for 12 hours before the experiment as it helps in proper signal acquisition. Ag/AgCl electrodes are placed on the Brachii muscle which is the target muscle with a third electrode placed near the bone which acts as a reference. The device is connected to the individual during the entire workout to extract data that is to be used for further processing. The Arduino near the wrist and tied to the hand so that it does not get any interference. Wires are connected between the Myoware Muscle sensor and Arduino Nano which are placed in the same hand during the workout.

EXPERIMENT
The Myoware Muscle sensor is used to collect the data from the muscle and the Arduino Nano which is used to sample the data from received from the Muscle sensor. The Arduino Nano is a small, complete, and breadboard-friendly board based on the ATmega328P (Arduino Nano 3.x). It lacks only a DC power jack and works with a Mini-B USB cable instead of a standard one.
